Hello and welcome to The Wobbly Jelly.

There is nothing we love more than a celebration at The Wobbly Jelly. As a stay at home mum with two small children dare I say it life can sometimes seem a little monotonous. With this is mind the children and I tend to relish every opportunity we can to find joy in anything and everything. It goes without saying that birthdays and Christmas are the highlights of our year but we try and find an excuse to celebrate something on an almost weekly basis. I find the day goes so much more quickly and usually more joyfully if we have done something a little celebratory.

When it comes to parties, we really love to go to town, planning them months ahead. The children love to choose the theme they’d like and come up with ideas for what they’d like to play at the party and what they’d like to eat. I’ll be blogging details of parties we’ve thrown and parties we’d like to throw, alongside craft ideas, science experiments and recipes for you to try out too.

I should confess now, that we don’t have some limitless budget and professional photographer on hand and that I was banned from taking art GCSE at school as my work wasn’t viewed as good enough. But you know what, my two small children haven’t seemed to notice my lack of artistic ability andI like to think I more than make up for it in ideas and enthusiasm. Our activities are not about perfection but about having fun together and enjoying what we do.
